Blade Ballad 0.1.2 - Placeables; Kinematics Improvement
This is just an interim devlog that is just going over the current state of Blade Ballad.
A big portion of work that was being done in this version was towards the Placeables system, or the triangular tiled based building system for the game, to which will be responsible for building much of the world in the story and to offer players their own ability to build stuff using that same system.
The kinematics driven melee system has also been refined. I replaced every legacy input from Unity to use the new InputSystemAsset, which was a good move. Swing width is now adaptive to where your hand position is, so your swing would be wider if you swing right with your hand at the left. Attacks of all kinds can now be chained, and your torso would respond to the angle of your blade via BodyKinematics.
